The TV anime Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (The Opposite of You and Me) has unveiled its main visual for the second season, bringing a fresh burst of energy to fans awaiting the continuation of this beloved series.
Based on the hugely popular manga by Agazawa Koucha, which has sold over 2.1 million copies including digital editions and won multiple manga awards, the story follows two seemingly opposite high school students: Suzuki, a cheerful girl who is overly conscious of others’ opinions, and Tani, a quiet boy who is unafraid to speak his mind. Together with their friends, they learn to respect each other and deepen their understanding through everyday school life.
The new main visual features Suzuki, Tani, and eight other colorful classmates forming a large heart shape together. The design retains the series’ bright, pop aesthetic while hinting at the expanding relationships among the nine characters. The tagline “Youth accelerates!” promises that their daily lives and romantic developments will pick up even more momentum than in the first season.
Broadcast and Streaming Information
Seihantai na Kimi to Boku Season 2 is set to premiere on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. JST on MBS/TBS’s nationwide network of 28 stations. It will also stream on ABEMA and Prime Video every Sunday starting at 5:30 p.m. JST.
