The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kureha’s Kekkaishi no Ichirinka (also known as Bride of the Barrier Master) light novel series has revealed the main cast, additional staff, a second teaser visual, and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.

Novel and Manga Details
Kureha originally published the romantic supernatural novel under Kadokawa Bunko in December 2021, with illustrations by Bodax. The sixth volume was released in August 2025, and the seventh volume goes on sale June 16.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Odayaka began serialization in B’s-LOG Comic magazine in May 2020. The seventh volume was released in December 2025, with the eighth volume scheduled for July 30.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English. The fourth light novel volume shipped on July 15, and the sixth manga volume went on sale on May 26.
