“Kimetsu no Yaiba” Tanjirou, Nezuko, Giyuu and others working at Animate?! Collaboration starts July 11!
The “Anime ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ x Animate Collaboration,” featuring newly drawn illustrations of Kamado Tanjirou, Kamado Nezuko, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Hashibira Inosuke, and Tomioka Giyuu working at the store, will be held starting July 11!
A special collaboration between the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba and Animate is set to begin on July 11, 2025. This exciting event will feature characters like Kamado Tanjirou and his companions dressed in Animate store uniforms, adding a unique twist to the festivities.
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, which was serialized in “Shuukan Shounen Jump” from November 2016 to May 2020. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a young boy whose family is killed by demons. To turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, he joins the Kitsutai (Demon Slayer Corps) and throws himself into battles against demons.
The TV anime adaptation, produced by ufotable, started with the first season, Kamado Tanjirou Risshi-hen, followed by the second season, Yuukaku-hen, and the third season, Kajikaji no Sato-hen. The fourth season, Hashira Keiko-hen, began airing in May 2024. Looking ahead, the Mugenjou-hen arc will be produced as a three-part theatrical film series, with the first chapter scheduled for release on July 18, 2025.
What if Kamado Tanjirou, Kamado Nezuko, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Hashibira Inosuke, and Tomioka Giyuu worked at Animate?! This is the fun premise for the “Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba x Animate Collaboration” taking place from July 11 at all Animate stores nationwide and on the Animate online shop. Five characters are featured in newly drawn illustrations, depicted in Animate staff uniforms.
Collaboration items featuring these illustrations, such as “Acrylic Stands” and “Character Badge Collections,” are also planned for sale.
The “Anime Kimetsu no Yaiba x Animate Collaboration” will run from July 11 to September 10. It aims to build excitement for the theatrical release of Mugenjou-hen Chapter 1 on July 18. Be sure to keep an eye out for future collaboration projects that will be announced!
