The upcoming TV anime Choujun! Choujou-senpai has unveiled its main visual and main promotional video, along with a full cast reveal. The series is set to premiere in October 2026.
Based on the manga by Numashun, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2024 to June 2025, Choujun! Choujou-senpai is a superpower police comedy. It follows the unlikely partnership of Choujou Meguru, a detective who uses every psychic ability from telepathy to clairvoyance, and Ippongi Nao, a rookie policewoman with a black belt in judo and a strength that earned her the nickname “gorilla.” Together, they protect the peace in the bustling entertainment district of Chinshuku Kabukichou.
The manga has been a hit, ranking 6th in the 2024 Next Manga Award (comics category) and 3rd in 2025. Combined digital and print sales have surpassed 300,000 copies.
The newly released main visual features the main characters, including the psychic patrolman Choujou Meguru and his judo partner Ippongi Nao, along with the colorful residents of Chinshuku Kabukichou. The image hints at the comedic and chaotic events to come.
The first main PV introduces the characters with their newly revealed voices, showcasing fast-paced dialogue that captures the comedic energy of the series. The video gives a taste of the superpower police comedy’s humor and raises anticipation for the full show.

Additionally, the series will have a stage event at Jump Victory Carnival (JVC) 2026, featuring a Choujou Meguru costume and Aono Rishin as Ippongi Nao. They will present the latest anime information and highlight other notable Weekly Shonen Jump titles.
Choujun! Choujou-senpai will air on Kantele and Fuji TV’s national network every Tuesday at 23:00 starting in October 2026, as part of the “Ka Anibal!!” programming block.
