Production company Asmik Ace has opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Monsho Sasakibara‘s light novel Majutsu wo Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyou de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru (also known as The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend). The site revealed the main cast, staff, a teaser visual, and a teaser promotional video on Thursday. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

Background
Sasakibara began writing the adventure fantasy web novel on the Kakuyomu platform in July 2021. Starts Publishing released a single light novel volume under its Grast Novels imprint in December 2022, titled Tensei Elf ni Yoru 900-nen no Yukyu Slow Life, with illustrations by Hatori Kyouka.
A manga adaptation by kanco began serialization on the Comic Grast online magazine in May 2023. The fifth volume was published on November 28, and the sixth volume is planned for a June 26 release.
