The 15th anniversary event of MAPPA brought the first official details for the television anime adaptation of Coco Uzuki‘s manga Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshi-domo (Fall in Love, You False Angels). The studio released a teaser visual and a promotional video, while also confirming the main creative team. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

Uzuki began serializing the shoujo romance manga in April 2023 in Kodansha’s magazine Dessert. The seventh volume shipped on June 12, and the series has reached 2.25 million copies in circulation worldwide. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in March 2024 and released the fourth volume in December 2025; the fifth volume is scheduled for June 23.
The manga ranked 18th in the 2024 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Female readers division, climbed to fifth in 2025, and placed 15th in 2026. It also won the 49th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shoujo category in 2025 and was nominated for the 71st Shogakukan Manga Award.
