Kill Ao Season 2 Announced with Illustration and Comment from Creator Fujimaki Tadayoshi

TV anime Kill Ao has announced a second season, coinciding with the broadcast of its final episode. Alongside the announcement, original creator Fujimaki Tadayoshi released a new illustration and a comment expressing his hopes for the upcoming season.

Kill Ao is an action comedy originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The story follows legendary hitman Oogami Juuzou, who, at age 39, is transformed into a 13-year-old boy after being stung by a mysterious bee. He is then ordered to infiltrate a middle school, where he must navigate a chaotic school life while dealing with assassins and new enemies.

The first season aired from April 11 to June 27, 2026, on the TV Tokyo network, totaling 12 episodes. Season 2 will introduce even stronger adversaries, and Juuzou’s youth-filled journey continues.

Fujimaki’s illustration features Juuzou holding a textbook while firing a gun, with the words “Season 2 Production Decision!!” written on it. In his comment, Fujimaki thanked the anime staff and fans, saying, “I hope it becomes a fun Kill Ao that you can enjoy without straining yourself, just like Season 1.” He added, “Please look forward to this ‘second-chance at youth’ action comedy!”
