Summer anime Nijusseiki Denki Mokuroku – Eureka Evurika will begin airing on July 5, 2026. The first episode, titled “Electric Boy” (Denshi Shounen), has received a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

The third key visual for the anime has also been released.
The series is based on the light novel Nijusseiki Denki Mokuroku by Yuki Hiroshi, which won the Encouragement Prize at the 8th Kyoto Animation Awards. Set in an alternate early 20th-century Kyoto where only steam power has developed and the city is shrouded in smoke, the story follows a boy who lost his brother and the dream of an “age of electricity,” and a girl who carries her own regrets. Their meeting over the secrets of the “Twentieth Century Electric Catalog” sets a tale of rebirth in motion.
First Episode Synopsis

Protagonist Sakamoto Kihachi lost his older brother Seiroku and the “Twentieth Century Electric Catalog” — a book of electrical inventions they had sworn to realize — in the war.

However, Kihachi’s stalled dream is reignited by a shocking encounter with Momokawa Ineko, the daughter of a sake brewer. Ineko holds something that draws the pursuit of Mitsue Yousuke, the heir of a steam conglomerate seeking the lost catalog.

The first episode “Electric Boy” will air on July 5 on ABC TV, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, and BS11. It will also stream worldwide exclusively on Netflix, with new episodes every Sunday from 23:00 JST.
