To the Mugenjou Arc via `Kimetsu no Yaiba` Taxis!? Collaboration Wraps with Tanjiro & Hashira Appear! In-Car CMs Featuring Hanae Natsuki and Other Voice Actors Also Airing
`Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou Hen Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai` is set to be released on July 18, 2025. To commemorate its release, a collaboration with the taxi app “S.RIDE” has begun. Starting today, July 8th, eight wrapped taxis featuring main characters like Kamado Tanjiro and the Hashira are operating in Tokyo, and exclusive in-car commercials voiced by the main cast have also started airing.

`Kimetsu no Yaiba`, also known as “Demon Slayer,” is based on the immensely popular manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shounen Jump.” The manga has sold over 150 million copies across its 23 volumes. The story follows the journey of a young boy, Kamado Tanjiro, whose family is brutally murdered by demons. His sister, Kamado Nezuko, is the sole survivor but has been transformed into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps with the goal of turning Nezuko back into a human and seeking revenge on the demons responsible. The series captivates audiences with its poignant tale of humans and demons, intense sword fights, memorable characters, and moments of unexpected comedy.
The anime adaptation, produced by ufotable, began with `Television Anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Kamado Tanjiro Risshi Hen` in April 2019 and has since expanded into a successful series. The story continuing from `Television Anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Hashira Geiko Hen`, which aired from May 2024, will be told in `Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou Hen`, produced as a trilogy. `Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai` kicks off this trilogy on July 18, 2025. This chapter will depict the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons, set in the Infinite Castle (Mugenjou), the demons’ stronghold, where Tanjiro and his companions have fallen.
To mark the film’s release, the collaboration with the “S.RIDE” taxi app began today, July 8th. Eight unique wrapped taxis, each adorned with a different main character – including protagonist Kamado Tanjiro and seven of the formidable Hashira (Pillars) of the Demon Slayer Corps – are now operating in Tokyo’s 23 wards and the Musashino/Mitaka area.
During the collaboration period, the “S.RIDE” app features a special interface where the current locations of these `Kimetsu no Yaiba` taxis are displayed using character icons! You can see in real-time where your favorite character’s wrapped taxi is driving and even use the app to specifically hail and ride in one of these special vehicles.
Adding to the excitement, taxis equipped with the “GROWTH” taxi signage media in their rear seats are now playing special collaboration-exclusive commercials! These CMs feature four of the main voice actors from the `Kimetsu no Yaiba` anime: Hanae Natsuki, Kitou Akari, Shimono Hiro, and Matsuoka Yoshitsugu. This is a fantastic opportunity to use “S.RIDE,” catch one of these unique taxis, and get even more hyped for `Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou Hen Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai` premiering on July 18th!
