The highly anticipated summer anime series, “Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime,” is set to premiere soon! Ahead of the broadcast of its first episode, titled “Kizetsu Yuusha to Sannin no Himegimitachi” (which can be translated as “The Fainting Hero and the Three Princesses”), scheduled for July 12, 2025, the synopsis and some exciting preview cuts have been released.

“Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime” is based on the manga of the same name, with original story by Norishiro-chan and art by Yukita Kouji. It’s currently serialized in “Shuukan Shounen Champion” and also available on the web manga site “Chanpion Kurosu.” This series is described as a “harem death love comedy,” following the journey of a hero who faints from even a little bit of excitement due to extreme shyness and an intense lack of tolerance for women. He embarks on a perilous journey with three beautiful women, each secretly plotting to take his life for their own distinct objectives.

The TV anime adaptation is being directed by Akitaya Noriaki and produced by CONNECT, the studio known for works like “Seiyuu Rajio no Ura Omote,” “Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha,” and “Suroo Ruupu.” The main cast includes Takeuchi Shunsuke as the protagonist, Yuusha Touto. The three heroines aiming for his life are voiced by Saeki Iori as Shieru (a mage whose true identity is the Maoo’s daughter), Ueda Hitomi as Anemone (a priest whose true identity is a skilled assassin), and Shiraishi Haruka as Goa (a dancer whose true identity is a sadistic mistress).

Touto is a capable hero, but his extreme shyness makes it impossible for him to form a party, leaving him stuck in the “Hajimari no Machi,” Furomunaa. One day, three beautiful women—Shieru, Anemone, and Goa—appear before Touto and suddenly invite him to join their party.

However, these women have secret identities! Shieru is actually the Maoo’s daughter, Anemone is a notorious assassin, and Goa is a sadistic mistress. Each of them has a specific goal regarding the hero’s life (and potentially turning him into a pet!). And so begins the chaotic adventure of a hero who faints from just a little bit of nervousness around women and the three beauties secretly plotting his demise.
