Episode 2 Synopsis and Previews for Summer Anime Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu High School! Revealed
Ahead of its broadcast on Monday, July 14, 2025, the synopsis and preview screenshots for Episode 2 (also known as “Dai Ni Wa”) of the summer anime Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu High School! have been released. The episode title is “Nori ga Ii tte High Kara da ze!” (Being Enthusiastic is High Kara!).
About Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu High School!
The Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu series is an original anime directed by Takamatsu Shinji, known for his work on titles like Gintama, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, and Sakamoto desu ga?. The story centers around high school boys belonging to the “Chikyuu Boueibu” (Earth Defense Club) at Binan Koukou, located in Binan Shi in the North Kanto region. The series hilariously depicts their adventures after unexpectedly finding themselves battling monsters.
The first season, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu LOVE!, aired in January 2015 and became a sensation. This was followed by sequels such as Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu LOVE! LOVE! and Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu HAPPY KISS!. In January 2025, the movie Gekijouban Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu ETERNAL LOVE! was released as a 10th-anniversary project, showcasing the series’ continuous production history.
The new series, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu High School!, sees Takamatsu Shinji returning as both Director and Sound Director. Animation production is handled by Studio Deen, a studio that has brought numerous anime works to the world, including Sasaki to Miyano and Mahou Tsukai Precure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~.
The story begins in the Taishou era. Unzen Shinkurou, Sukayu Aroushi, Uge Sousuke, Osyamanbe Shio, and Aso Kuuta, members of the “Nanimo Shinai Bu” (Do-Nothing Club) at Binan Koukou, encounter Null, a talking Pallas’s Cat who has traveled from the future to warn them about a crisis threatening Earth. Although Null claims he only came to warn them, the five decide to fight themselves and are transformed into the High Kara Roman Dan by Null’s cat science. Meanwhile, a mysterious trio known as the Bankara Shin’ei Tai are also plotting to conquer Earth… And so the story unfolds.
Episode 2 (Dai Ni Wa) “Nori ga Ii tte High Kara da ze!” Synopsis
The five members of the Chikyuu Boueibu, transformed into the High Kara Roman Dan by the mysterious future cat Null’s cat science, have successfully defeated a monster. However, standing before them now is the Bankara Shin’ei Tai, the Earth Conquest Club guided by the mysterious prairie dog known as Master Kyan.
Their true identities are none other than three students who live in the same Kurotama Ryou dormitory and belong to the Binan Koukou Seitokai (Student Council): Doumeki Jutareto, Nyuutou Samon, and Nekoma Yuu. With enemies and allies under the same roof, you might expect something to happen… but nothing particularly does (apparently).
The summer anime Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu High School!‘s Episode 2 (Dai Ni Wa), “Nori ga Ii tte High Kara da ze!”, is scheduled to broadcast sequentially starting from 23:00 JST on Monday, July 14 on TOKYO MX and BS Nittele from 23:30 JST. The series is also currently available on various streaming platforms.
