JAL’s autumn 2026 in-flight sales begin on September 1, 2026, on both domestic and international routes. The new lineup includes a Monchhichi mascot keychain set, marking the character’s first appearance in JAL’s in-flight offerings.
Also new are an Artisan & Artist JAL original pouch (8,500 yen, or 7,650 yen with JAL Card) and a KINOKUNIYA collaboration tote bag and cooler bag set, both featuring travel-themed illustrations. These exclusive items are available only through JAL’s in-flight sales and the online “Ouchi de Kinai Hanbai” service.
The Monchhichi keychain set features Monchhichi-kun holding a JAL airplane and Monchhichi-chan with a suitcase. Both come with a large round carabiner, making them easy to attach to bags or pouches for travel.
The set is priced at 3,960 yen (3,564 yen with JAL Card). The airplane Monchhichi-kun holds features the JAL logo.
In addition, the online “Ouchi de Kinai Hanbai” service offers a special washi art bonsai created by renowned bonsai artist Mariko Daisuke exclusively for JAL. This one-of-a-kind piece, titled “JUME BONSAI 匠景 –SHOKEI– ‘Gen Chitose’ JAL EXCLUSIVE,” is priced at 1,500,000 yen and represents the essence of bonsai beauty in washi paper, evolving traditional Japanese craft.
