Shin Gekijouban Gintama -Yoshiwara Daienjou- <Chou Enjou-ban> Announces Birthday Shikishi Bonus

Shin Gekijouban Gintama -Yoshiwara Daienjou- will begin screening in theaters across Japan on September 25, 2026. The first-run bonus for attendees has been announced as a set of four shikishi boards featuring newly drawn illustrations to celebrate Gin-san’s upcoming birthday.

Special Edition with Over 200 Refined Cuts

The film is a special version of Shin Gekijouban Gintama -Yoshiwara Daienjou-, which has been screening since February and became a major hit. This edition applies refinements to more than 200 cuts, enhancing character expressions, textures, action, camera work, and lighting to deliver a more powerful and immersive visual experience. The story remains the same.

First-Run Bonus: Birthday Shikishi

The first-run bonus is the “Gin-san Mou Sugu Otanjoubi Omedetou Shikishi” in four varieties. Each features a newly drawn illustration celebrating Gin-san’s birthday on October 10, created by the animation directors of the Gintama anime.

The lineup includes:

• Takeuchi Shinji: Gin-san with Seita, Hinowa, and Tsukuyo
• Takakura Kae: Joui Shitennou
• Suwa Kanae: Gin-san with Shinsengumi
• Nakamura Yumi: Yorozuya

Stage Greeting and Live Viewing

In addition, pre-orders for stage greeting tickets are now open to commemorate the screening. The stage greeting will be broadcast live to theaters nationwide. Plans are also in place for a special event tied to Gin-san’s birthday on October 10, so keep an eye out for further announcements.
