The Story of the Mysterious Thief

The story follows Hanoka Meimi, a seemingly ordinary second-year junior high school student attending Saint Paulia Gakuin. However, Meimi harbors a secret: by night, she transforms into the enigmatic phantom thief, Kaitou Saint Tail! With her father being a magician, Meimi possesses extraordinary skills in illusion and escape. Her mission, alongside her trusted companion and information assistant, Fukimori Seira (a novice sister at the academy’s chapel), is to recover stolen or fraudulently obtained items and return them to their rightful owners. They actively work to aid the “lost lambs” who have fallen victim to crime, ensuring justice prevails where the police often fall short.

Hot on Kaitou Saint Tail’s trail is Asuka Jr., whose real name is Asuka Daiki. He’s a brilliant classmate of Meimi’s, who has been specially appointed by the mayor as an investigator dedicated solely to catching Saint Tail. Initially, Meimi is understandably irritated by the somewhat arrogant Asuka Jr. However, as their cat-and-mouse game progresses, her feelings for him subtly begin to change. She finds herself increasingly drawn to his sincere dedication in pursuing Saint Tail. What destiny awaits these two, bound by a mysterious game of chase?
