Sanrio Characters Friends 6 Turns Hello Kitty, My Melody and Pompompurin into Sweets

Sanrio characters are getting a sweet makeover in the sixth installment of the adult-cute soft vinyl doll Friends series. Preorders for SANRIO CHARACTERS FRIENDS 6 are open from September 24, 2026 (Thursday) at 13:00 on the Candy Online Shop within Premium Bandai.

At the 2026 Sanrio Character Awards, Pompompurin took first place with 70,647,379 votes, the most in the event’s history. Cinnamoroll, which led the first preliminary ranking, came in second, followed by Pochacco in third, Kuromi in fourth, and Hello Kitty in fifth. The results highlight characters that have been loved by fans around the world for many years.

The Friends series continues with its sixth Sanrio Characters lineup, featuring all-original newly drawn designs.

Sweets-Themed Costumes for Eight Characters

The sixth installment centers on a sweets and desserts theme, with costumes that look as sweet and delicious as the theme suggests. The set gathers eight characters: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Hangyodon, and Tuxedo Sam.

Matching gold paint accents, including ribbons and crowns, are another highlight.
