The Autumn Equinox in 2025 falls on September 23rd.
It’s one of Japan’s national holidays, cherished as the day when day and night are nearly equal in length. From this day forward, autumn deepens, bringing with it a cool and pleasant atmosphere. As this season arrives, many people find certain anime titles mysteriously popping into their minds, urging them to watch ‘now is the time!’
Perhaps it’s an anime featuring delicious-looking food perfect for the “Autumn of Appetite,” or a sports series that embodies the “Autumn of Sports,” or even a memorable work that premiered or was released during autumn… There are countless masterpieces to savor specifically during this season.
That’s why Anime! Anime! is excited to announce the return of our reader survey after two years, asking: “What anime makes you want to watch it in Autumn?” We invite you to share your top picks in a free-form answer format.
Please note:
- The survey is open to anime works (TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVAs, etc.).
- Only one response per person, please.
Basic information such as gender and age are optional fields, and you can choose not to answer them. We encourage everyone to participate!
The deadline is September 18th. We will publish the survey results as soon as they are compiled. Look forward to it!

Last year, Anime! Anime! conducted a reader survey asking “What anime makes you want to watch it in Autumn?” and we announced the results.
This survey is part of an awareness study regarding our readers’ current interest and attention toward anime works and characters. The results are not intended to determine superiority or inferiority among any characters or works. We hope this article serves as an opportunity for you to discover new works and characters, or to deepen your understanding and interest in existing ones.
