This upcoming film isn’t just a rehash; it’s set to be a completely fresh and original story, expanding the narrative of Girls Band Cry. Powerhouse animation studio Toei Animation, known for their incredible work on countless beloved titles, is at the helm of this exciting new project, ensuring a high-quality cinematic experience for all.

For those who’ve been following the journey, the original Girls Band Cry television anime lit up screens during the Spring 2024 season. It delivered a total of 13 episodes, captivating audiences with its unique blend of music and drama.

International fans had various ways to catch the series. Streaming platform Catchplay+ offered a simulcast of the anime with both Indonesian and English subtitles, beginning its run on May 31.
