The fall anime Bukiyou na Senpai. has released the synopsis and preview images for its first episode, titled “Uchi ga Kyouikugakari!?”, which is set to begin broadcast on October 2, 2025 (Thursday).
Bukiyou na Senpai. is a “doki-doki working & love? comedy” based on Kudou Makoto’s manga, serialized in Square Enix’s “Young Gangan”, depicting the relationship between a clumsy senior colleague and a new employee. The story starts when Haganawa Azusa, an office lady with a reputation for being “beautiful but strict and intimidating” due to her stoic work ethic and poor social skills, is appointed as the trainer for the highly anticipated new employee, Kamegawa Yuu. It portrays the everyday lives of a senior who is often misunderstood due to her clumsiness and a diligent new employee.
The original manga has garnered significant popularity, with over 650,000 copies in circulation and surpassing 3 million “likes” on X (formerly Twitter). The TV anime adaptation is directed by Kotake Ayumu and animated by Studio Elle. The cast includes Lynn as Haganawa Azusa, Sakata Shougo as Kamegawa Yuu, Maeshima Ami as Hotta Mio, and Saiga Mitsuki as Kankaizi Ritsu.
Episode 1 “Uchi ga Kyouikugakari!?” Synopsis
Haganawa Azusa from the publicity department is well-regarded within the company for her cool demeanor and capability. However, her dedication to work often makes her seem strict and intimidating.
At the department manager’s request, Haganawa-san is tasked with becoming the trainer for the promising new employee, Kamegawa Yuu. Despite her communication difficulties, Haganawa-san faces this challenge with determination.
