Get Ready for a Vibrant Dance Extravaganza! Trailer and Poster Unveiled for the New Crayon Shin-chan Movie, Featuring Saucy Dog Theme Song!
Get ready for a vibrant new adventure! The latest trailer and main poster visual have just been unveiled for the upcoming anime film `Eeiga Kureyon Shin-chan Choo Karei! Shakunetsu no KasukaBe Dansaazu`! Adding to the excitement, Saucy Dog’s song “Supaisu” has been chosen as the theme song.
Since its start as a manga in “Manga Action” in 1990 and the TV anime premiere in 1992, `Kureyon Shin-chan` has brought smiles and touching moments to all ages. The film series began in 1993 with `Eeiga Kureyon Shin-chan Akushon Kamen VS Haigure Maoo`, and this latest film is the 32nd installment. Following the record-breaking success of `Eeiga Kureyon Shin-chan Ora-tachi no Kyoryuu Nikki` in 2024, the `Kureyon Shin-chan` series is ready for another hit.
In this 32nd movie, Shin-chan and the `KasukaBe BooEitai` will perform a grand dance in India, a first for the series! This time, something seems different with Boo-chan, the calming presence of the `KasukaBe BooEitai`, who holds many mysteries. What could have happened? Set in the “scorching hot country” of India, this summer’s ultimate dance entertainment `Eeiga Kureyon Shin-chan Choo Karei! Shakunetsu no KasukaBe Dansaazu` is set to open nationwide on August 8th (Friday).

Alongside the trailer, the main poster visual has also been unveiled! Matching the catchy phrase, “Awaken! India Power!”, the poster depicts Shin-chan jumping in Indian-style clothing, the `KasukaBe BooEitai` dancing in colorful outfits amidst the Indian streets, and the Nohara family striking poses together as if unleashing their hidden potential. In stark contrast to the smiling Shin-chan and friends, we see Boo-chan transformed into a tyrant (`Boo-kun`), holding a `Sugoikyūbu` with sharp eyes and a purple cape billowing.
A Shocking Transformation! Highlights from the Latest Trailer

The newest trailer kicks off with “Maharaja Boo,” adorned in a lavish Maharaja-style outfit, dancing on a magnificent stage! Things take a wild turn when Boo-chan accidentally sticks a piece of paper from a nose-shaped backpack onto his nose, leading him to be guided by an evil force and transform into a tyrant (`Boo-kun`)! “What do you know about me? I won’t let my snot… flow anymore!” he declares with a fierce gaze, revealing his desires. Can Shin-chan and the gang save Boo-chan’s nose from this wicked influence?
This surprising transformation is truly shocking, showing a sharp contrast to the usually quiet and gentle Boo-chan, now with determined eyebrows and eyes, proclaiming, “This is the real me.” The trailer also features the super elite police duo Kabīru (CV: Yamadera Kooichi) and Diru (CV: Hayami Shoo), showcasing their dance, song, and action with a rhythmic duet that’s sure to make you want to move along! We also see Boo-chan perform a graceful spin against Urufu (CV: Kaku Kento), an Indian billionaire searching for the strongest companion. The trailer is packed with scenes of singing, dancing, and more dancing!
Then, the mood shifts as Arīana’s (CV: Seto Asami) line, “What does it mean to be Boo-chan?” challenges the hearts of Shin-chan and the `KasukaBe BooEitai`. What do we truly know about Boo-chan? What defines “Boo-chan-ness”? This trailer, a hot blend of “friendship” and “snot,” is sure to heighten anticipation for the main film!

Theme Song: Saucy Dog’s “Supaisu” Written by “Another Shin-chan” Ishihara Shinya! Director Hashimoto Calls it a “Wonderful Song” That Deepens the Film’s Afterglow!

And now, the theme song for this film has been revealed as Saucy Dog’s “Supaisu”! Saucy Dog, known for captivating many fans with their heartfelt lyrics and melodies, wrote “Supaisu” specifically for this movie. The song is a gentle yet powerful track infused with the desire to live life without forgetting the childhood “excitement” that was full of dreams and hope.
What’s particularly noteworthy is that the vocalist of Saucy Dog, Ishihara Shinya, shares the name “Shin-chan”! This is truly a dream collaboration between two “Shin-chan”s! Ishihara-san, a longtime fan of `Kureyon Shin-chan` movies since he was a child, shared his thoughts: “When I was little, everyday life was so much fun, and I want to live without forgetting that excitement, no matter what happens from now on. I wrote ‘Supaisu’ with that feeling.”
Furthermore, Director Hashimoto Masakazu revealed that he entrusted Saucy Dog with the songwriting based on their “sensibility.” He commented, “I wanted the movie’s ending to give the impression that the children’s story doesn’t just end, but continues on. I always want `Kureyon Shin-chan` stories to end with a feeling of ‘to be continued’.” Director Hashimoto also praised “Supaisu,” saying, “The lyrics resonate with the film’s theme, and the melody is gentle. It’s truly a wonderful song that deepens and warms the afterglow of the movie.”
The director highly recommends experiencing “Supaisu” in the cinema alongside the lingering feeling of the `Kureyon Shin-chan` story. This song is sure to heat up this summer along with the movie!
Comments from the Artist and Director
Here are comments from Ishihara Shinya of Saucy Dog and Director Hashimoto Masakazu:
Ishihara Shinya (Saucy Dog) Comment:
“I’ve loved `Kureyon Shin-chan` for a long time and have seen all the movies. When I received the offer for the theme song, I was truly happy! While feeling a bit nervous and rushed, I wanted to write a fun and positive song that would connect to our future as well. When I saw the storyboards and script for this film, it reminded me of what excited us and what we had hope for when we were little.
Everyday life, which seemed like nothing special, was incredibly fun, and everything was full of mysteries that were exciting to uncover. Remembering that, I wrote ‘Supaisu’ with the feeling that I want to live without forgetting that excitement, no matter how difficult things get from now on.”
Hashimoto Masakazu Director Comment:
“I spoke with Saucy Dog-san about this film – that the setting is India, but we weren’t trying to make an Indian film; it’s a `Kureyon Shin-chan` movie set in India. We discussed the kind of story it is and what we aimed to portray.
While talking, I realized Saucy Dog-san knows `Kureyon Shin-chan` very well, so I didn’t give too many specific requests. I asked them to create the music based on their own sensibility after reading the film’s scenario and other materials. I told them it doesn’t need to be an Indian-style song because `Kureyon Shin-chan` stories always feel like they ‘continue,’ and I wanted the film’s ending to leave the impression that the children’s story doesn’t end there but keeps going.
When I listened to the completed song, I felt it was truly wonderful, with lyrics that resonate with the film’s theme and a gentle melody. It really deepens and warms the afterglow of the movie. I listened to this song repeatedly to build up the image for the film’s ending visuals.
I hope everyone will experience the song together with the afterglow of the `Kureyon Shin-chan` story in the cinema.”
