About the Artist: Araki Hirohiko
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the man behind the art. Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Araki Hirohiko is a true icon of the manga world. His journey began in 1980 when his work, *Busou Poker*, earned him an honorable mention at the 20th Tezuka Award, hosted by Shueisha. But it was in 1986 that he truly struck gold with the launch of *JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken* in “Weekly Shonen Jump.” This series quickly captured the hearts of readers, earning massive support. The *JoJo* saga continues to this day, with the 9th part, *The JOJOLands*, currently running in “Ultra Jump” since February 2023.
