For the uninitiated, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken is the legendary manga by Hirohiko Araki that began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump back in 1987. The anime adaptation of its fourth part, Diamond wa Kudakenai, aired from April 2016, bringing the bizarre adventures of Higashikata Jousuke and his friends in Morioh to life.

This marks the third collaboration between the anime and glamb, a brand built on the concept of “Grunge for Luxury.” Known for its grunge and rock-inspired clothing, glamb has a strong following among artists and celebrities and frequently appears in music, films, and dramas.

Beyond partnering with artists like The Rolling Stones, Kiyoshiro Imawano, and hide, glamb has also collaborated with anime titles like Chainsaw Man. Their latest collection pulls inspiration from a wide cast of characters, including mainstays like Higashikata Jousuke, Hirose Kouichi, Nijimura Okuyasu, Kujou Jotaro, Kishibe Rohan, and Kira Yoshikage, as well as familiar faces like Otoishi Akira and Funkefuda Yuuya. The lineup isn’t just T-shirts and hoodies; it includes full-pattern shirts and stylish outerwear.

Stand Power Meets High Fashion

Let’s dive into the standout pieces. The Crazy Diamond vs Killer Queen T-shirts frame the story’s climactic battle like a vintage rock tee. The front features a dynamic, quartered composition of Higashikata Jousuke and Kira Yoshikage with their respective Stands, overlaid with the arc’s title logo for a powerfully intense design.

The Crazy Diamond Cardigan primitively captures the force of Jousuke’s Stand. This V-neck cardigan uses double jacquard knitting to depict the Stand’s punch and motifs from Jousuke’s gakuran jacket, inspired by the outlaw vibe of 80s New York graffiti art.

Reflecting the villainous Kira Yoshikage, the Killer Queen Jacket II translates his eerie persona to the streets. The jacket body features his iconic tie pattern, collaged with a chaotic, UK punk-inspired design work that includes scenes from the story, Stand motifs, his signature striped shirt, and even his second bomb, “Sheer Heart Attack,” on the left sleeve.

The Jotaro Shirt is a rude, open-collar piece infused with Kujou Jotaro‘s essence. This classical vintage-style shirt incorporates various motifs from his iconic styling into a geometric, symmetrical pattern that evokes scarves and rugs, presenting his character with a majestic feel.

Character Tributes in Every Stitch

The Rohan Kishibe Shirt embodies the manga artist’s character and work. The background is scattered with line art from his in-universe manga “Pink Dark Boy,” overlayed with his famous scenes and quotes like “But I refuse!” It’s an experimental illustration that captures his ambition and eccentricity.

Okuyasu’s Stand, Harvest, gathers on the Harvest Shirt, an aloha shirt. A horizontal design on the front and back shows the little Stands collecting coins and the “Kameyu” department store’s blue stamps in a psychedelic pop-art style that matches Okuyasu’s lively personality. The chest pocket even features the troublesome lottery ticket, with the pattern continuing inside—a playful touch unique to clothing.

The Hand Cutsew is a long-sleeve T-shirt depicting Nijimura Okuyasu‘s powerful Stand, The Hand. An avant-garde, contemporary art-style graphic with fierce brushstrokes represents Okuyasu as a mighty companion, layered with currency symbols and words that symbolize him.

The villainous guitarist Otoishi Akira and his formidable Stand, Red Hot Chili Pepper, appear on the Akira Otoishi’s Stand Cutsew. The design combines a logo and circle motif reminiscent of metal rock T-shirts with effects representing his electrical powers. The logo continues onto the sleeves, adding to the menacing vibe.

Remember that hilarious break at the Italian restaurant “Trattoria Trussardi”? The Tonio’s Stand T-shirts capture that episode in graphic form. Drawn in a style reminiscent of vintage souvenir tees, it features Tonio, his Stand, various dishes, and a rejuvenated Okuyasu, turning a comical side story into kitschy pop art.

Glamb’s signature color-blocking design traces the evolution of Hirose Kouichi‘s Stand, Echoes, on the Koichi’s Stand Sweat. The tri-panel design depicts Act 1, Act 3, and Act 2 from left to right on a vintage college sweatshirt, representing Kouichi’s growth into a brave young man.

Finally, Funkefuda Yuuya‘s Stand, Highway Star, gets a stylish upgrade on the Highway Star Hoodie. A bold back print designs the Stand in an alternative rock poster style, expressing Yuuya’s proud, dandy image, while a simple front point creates a modern impression.
