Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 51 Preview Released
The synopsis and preview screenshots for episode 51 of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen season 3, titled “Ashi o Kuwamu” (Season 3 Episode 4), have been unveiled. This episode is part of the “Shimabara Arc Part 1” and is set to air on January 22, 2026.
About Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy manga by Akutami Gege that delves into the clash between curses born from human negativity and the jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them. Serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, the series has amassed over 150 million copies in circulation, including digital versions. Since September 2025, a near-future spin-off, Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo), with原作 by Akutami and art by Iwasaki Yuuji, has been in short-term concentrated serialization.
The anime adaptation kicked off with TV anime season 1 from October 2020 to March 2021. The first film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, became a massive worldwide hit, raking in 26.5 billion yen at the box office. TV anime season 2, “Katsura・Gyokusetsu / Shibuya Incident,” aired from July to December 2023 and garnered huge反响 globally.
In “Shimabara Arc Part 1,” the story focuses on the brutal battle within the killing game “Shimabara Arc,” orchestrated by the history’s worst sorcerer, Kamo Noritoshi.
Episode 51 “Ashi o Kuwamu” (Season 3 Episode 4) Summary
As the group splits up to handle their roles in平定 the “Shimabara Arc,” Maki ventures to the Zen’in family to retrieve cursed tools, aiming to boost their combat power for the impending conflict.
Undeterred by Naoya’s taunts and her mother’s pleas, Maki presses on toward the cursed repository.
When she opens the door, instead of the expected emptiness, she discovers a bloodied Mai and her father, Zen’in Sen, awaiting her.

TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen episode 51 “Ashi o Kuwamu” (Season 3 Episode 4) will be broadcast nationwide simultaneously on MBS/TBS network’s 28 stations in the “Super Animeism TURBO” time slot at 0:26 AM on January 22 (Thursday).
