Introduction to the New Merchandise
From the TV anime ONE PIECE, the pirate flag of Kurosu Girudo (Cross Guild) and the sail illustration of Baasoromyuu Kuma‘s ship have been made into T-shirts. They are being offered by COSPA, which handles official character costumes and apparel goods.
About ONE PIECE
ONE PIECE is a massively hit comic that represents Japan, started serialization by Oda Eiichiro in 1997 in “Weekly Shonen Jump”, and boasts over 500 million copies in circulation worldwide. The story revolves around the “One Piece”, the great treasure left by the legendary “Pirate King” Gooru D. Rojer, and follows the grand adventures of the pirate “Mugiwara no Ichimi” (Straw Hat Crew) led by the protagonist Monkii D. Rufi.
Anime Timeline
The TV anime began broadcasting in 1999 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in October 2024. The Egghead Arc, which was on a break, resumed with a special edited version and episode 1123 “World Shaking! The Straw Hat Crew Standoff Incident” aired on April 5, 2025. Then, the Egghead Arc ended in December 2025, and the Elbaf Arc is scheduled to start broadcasting in April 2026.
T-Shirt Features and Designs
The pirate flag of the organization Kurosu Girudo (Cross Guild) that appears in ONE PIECE, and the sail illustration of the Warlord of the Sea, the paw-human Baasoromyuu Kuma‘s ship, have now become easy-to-wear T-shirts.
These T-shirts use 5.6-ounce fabric with the pirate flag and sail illustration designed on the front, offering excellent breathability, moisture absorption, and retention, making them comfortable to wear in any season.
By using yarn that suppresses pilling, a smooth touch is also achieved. The flat “tube type” with no seams under the arms is adopted, making it resistant to twisting from washing.
For the inside shoulder area, a “tako binder finish” with collar fold tape is adopted. This prevents collar stretching and deformation, pursuing comfort.

The color variations are: the Kurosu Girudo Pirate Flag T-Shirt comes in one color, SUMI (black), and the Baasoromyuu Kuma T-Shirt comes in two colors, WHITE and NAVY.
Sizes are available in S, M, L, and XL for each. The price is 3,300 yen (tax included) per shirt. The COSPA official shop is accepting pre-orders until February 23. Release is scheduled for mid-April.
