Get ready to snack and collect! A new item is joining the Gundam “shokugan” (food toy) series: “SD Gundam G Generation Eternal Snack 01”. Priced at 181 yen (including tax), it’s scheduled to hit the snack aisles of major retailers across Japan in April 2026.
A Legacy of Giant Robots
The Gundam Series is a legendary franchise of robot anime that has been evolving for over 45 years since the debut of “Kidou Senshi Gundam” (Mobile Suit Gundam) in 1979. Spanning TV series, movies, and OVAs, it’s famous for its heavy themes of war, politics, and human drama, all centered around epic battles between “Mobility Suits.” Beyond animation, it’s a multimedia giant with manga, novels, games, and of course, plastic models (Gunpla). With many series featuring independent universes, it has garnered a massive, cross-generational fanbase.

This “SD Gundam G Generation Eternal Snack 01” is the first wave of snacks to include stickers based on the smartphone simulation app game, “SD Gundam G Generation Eternal”.
The sticker collection boasts a lineup of 32 types in total, which includes 2 secret rare stickers. Seven of these are done in a special holographic foil style, making them look as flashy as when a rare unit pops out of the game’s gacha!
