Winter 2026 Anime and the Theme of Amnesia
The winter 2026 anime season features several titles where memory loss plays a central role, such as Kirei ni Shite Morae masu ka. (which can be translated as “Will You Clean Me?”) and Duel Masters LOST ~Boukyaku no Taiyou~ (meaning “Duel Masters LOST: The Sun of Oblivion”).
Think about it: stories that kick off with a character remembering nothing, shocking events that wipe memories temporarily, or plots that hinge on recovering lost pasts… It’s no wonder many of us get hooked on these twists and turns!
That’s why Anime! Anime! is running a reader survey titled “Which ‘amnesia’ character comes to mind?” It’s a free-response format, so just shout out the title that pops into your head.
※ Please note: Responses should be for characters from anime works (TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVAs, etc.), games, CD series, manga, and other 2D content.
