About the HUNTER×HUNTER Series
HUNTER×HUNTER is a manga series by Togashi Yoshihiro that began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump back in 1998. It follows the epic adventure story of a young boy named Gon. Aiming to become a Hunter like his father and ultimately meet him, Gon takes the notoriously difficult Hunter Exam. There, he meets his future companions—Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika—and together they continue to challenge the vast “unknown” world, a journey that has moved countless fans.
The TV anime adaptation aired on Nippon TV and other stations from October 2011 to September 2014. It faithfully brought the original’s intense story to life while painting a new “Hunter World,” and it continues to be loved by a massive fanbase to this day. The total circulation of the tankoubon volumes, including digital versions, has surpassed 84 million copies.
