“Kusuriya no Hitorigoto”: Maomao & Jinshi Appear in En’yuukai Style! “Kotodaman” First Collaboration Begins May 27

The first collaboration with the TV anime `Kusuriya no Hitorigoto` will be held within the smartphone app, the unique word-fighting RPG `Kyoutou Kotoba RPG Kotodaman` (hereafter `Kotodaman`), starting May 27, 2025. Characters such as `Maomao` & `Jinshi (En’yuukai)`, `Maomao`, and `Koushun` will make their first appearance in the collaboration gacha.

`Kusuriya no Hitorigoto` is a mystery-solving entertainment series centered on `Maomao`, a pharmacist’s daughter with an unusual obsession with poisons and medicine, who solves numerous incidents occurring in the palace. Based on the popular novel by Hyuuga Natsu, serialized on the novel submission site “Shousetsuka ni Narou,” the series has exceeded 40 million copies in cumulative circulation. The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2023, and the second season has been broadcasting since January 2025.

In this first collaboration held within `Kotodaman`, characters from the series, including `Maomao` & `Jinshi (En’yuukai)`, `Maomao`, and `Koushun`, will appear in the collaboration gacha. Additionally, characters like `Rihaku`, `Rakan`, and `Shinbi` will appear in collaboration quests.

Furthermore, by purchasing the “Jinshi Pack” commemorating the TV anime `Kusuriya no Hitorigoto` collaboration within the app, players can obtain `Jinshi`. Moreover, everyone who logs in during the event period will receive `Meimei` & `Pairin` & `Joka`.

To build excitement for the event, a collaboration commemorative special PV has also been released. In addition, there will be a present campaign on the official `Kotodaman` X (formerly Twitter) account where participants can win signed shikishi from `Yuuki Aoi` & `Ootsuka Takeo` or collaboration mini acrylic stand sets through a lottery. The first collaboration with the TV anime `Kusuriya no Hitorigoto` in the smartphone app `Kyoutou Kotoba RPG Kotodaman` will be held from May 27, 2025, around 16:00 JST until June 10, 2025, at 15:59 JST. Further details about this collaboration will be announced during the “Kotodaman Koushiki Housou [GOD Station]” stream, which will be broadcast on the official `Kotodaman` YouTube channel starting from 20:00 JST on May 26.
