A lottery sale for shipments in March 2026 is currently underway at the “Tamashii Web Store” within the Bandai Namco Group’s official mail-order site, Premium Bandai.
A Quick Dive into the World of Kimetsu no Yaiba
For those who might be new to the phenomenon, Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published in Shueisha’s “Jump Comics” with 23 volumes that have sold over 220 million copies in total. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family is slaughtered by demons (oni). To turn his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon, back into a human, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps (Kisatsutai) and throws himself into battle against the demons. It’s a series that has captured hearts with its poignant tale of humans and demons, breath-taking sword fights, incredibly charming characters, and the occasional comedic moment that lightens the mood.
The anime is produced by the renowned studio ufotable. It all started with the TV Anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Kamado Tanjirou Risshi Hen (also known as the Unwavering Resolve Arc) in April 2019, and the series has been going strong ever since. The final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons, set in the demon fortress “Mugenjou (Infinity Castle),” is being brought to life as a trilogy of films. The first chapter, “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou Hen – Chapter 1: Akaza Saikai” (translated as Infinity Castle Arc – Chapter 1: Akaza’s Return), premiered on July 18, 2025. While it unfortunately didn’t win, this film garnered significant attention as the sole Japanese work nominated for the “Best Animated Feature Film” award at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, often called a precursor to the Oscars.

This new release, the PROPLICA Broken Sun Blade (Rengoku Kyoujurou), is the official three-dimensional recreation of Rengoku’s shattered sword from the series.
Specifications & Features That Ignite the Soul
This is an approximately 1/1 scale model calculated from Rengoku’s official height. The faithfully reproduced broken blade has a total length of about 310mm.
It boasts the largest volume of sounds and BGM in the PROPLICA Sun Blade series, featuring numerous new voice lines not only from Rengoku but also from the demon Akaza and Rengoku Ruka (Kyoujurou’s mother). Furthermore, it comes with a special booklet detailing the recorded audio and a dedicated display stand.
