Great news for fans of sweet, romantic comedies! The manga Aishiteru Geemu wo Owarasetai, which is currently serialized on Shogakukan’s “Sunday Webry” manga app and website, is officially getting a TV anime adaptation.
To celebrate this exciting announcement, the original author, Doumoto Yuuki-sensei, has provided a special illustration commemorating the TV anime adaptation. Additionally, “Sunday Webry” has started a campaign offering free access to the first three volumes of the manga.
About the Series
Aishiteru Geemu wo Owarasetai is a heartwarming and somewhat bittersweet love story about childhood friends, penned by Doumoto Yuuki, who is also known for works like Livneus and Necromance. It’s serialized on Shogakukan’s manga platform, “Sunday Webry”.
The story follows the childhood friends Yuukiya and Miku. Despite realizing their true feelings for each other, their close relationship makes it difficult for them to be honest. Their bond is maintained through an “I Love You Game” they’ve played since childhood, where the goal is to make the other person blush. The big question is: what will be the conclusion of their love story, played out through this special game?
Fittingly, the TV anime adaptation was announced on June 12th, coinciding with “Lover’s Day” in Japan. Doumoto Yuuki-sensei’s commemorative illustration adds a special touch to the announcement.
