Ultraman Summer Collaboration Event ‘ULTRA SUMMER in IKEBUKURO’ Comes to Ikebukuro PARCO with Limited T-Shirts and Rare Goods Lottery

The “Ultraman Series” collaboration event “ULTRA SUMMER in IKEBUKURO” will be held at Ikebukuro PARCO in Tokyo from July 3, 2026. The event features a pop-up shop with artist collaboration goods and a lottery offering limited items including designs by artist TAPPEI.

The “Ultraman Series” began with Ultra Q and Ultraman in 1966, and over 60 years has become a beloved Tsuburaya Productions hero franchise. Featuring Ultraman fighting monsters and aliens for cosmic peace, the series has captivated audiences with thrilling special effects and innovative stories. Later entries like Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Zero introduced new heroes, spreading the series worldwide. July 2026 marks its 60th anniversary.

The “ULTRA SUMMER in IKEBUKURO” event aims to celebrate this milestone. The key visual was created by TAPPEI, an artist who has previously collaborated with PARCO on solo exhibitions. TAPPEI’s unique worldview and pen strokes depict a blue sky and clouds that anyone can envision, with an imagined Ultraman expressed in his style.

During the event, the pop-up shop “ULTRAMAN LIMITED POP UP SHOP With MONSTROUSA” will make its first PARCO appearance at the B2F pop-up space “SPOT” from July 10. The shop will offer a wide selection of art- and fashion-oriented items that highlight the appeal of the Ultraman series.

The shop, operated by the Shimokitazawa-based apparel brand MONSTROUSA, will feature newly drawn artist collaboration designs created for this event. While previous collaborations often focused on “Ultra Monsters,” this time the designs center on “Ultra Heroes,” a treat for fans. A popular LIVE PRINT event will also be held, allowing visitors to watch as Ultraman or monster patterns are printed onto their own T-shirts in real time.

A lottery called “ULTRA SUMMER CHANCE” will offer rare prizes including limited Ultraman goods and a TAPPEI autographed visual poster. Prizes include the BluMack Ultraman Zero (Tsuburaya Limited Color) Ver.2 and the Puchi Mascot Keychain Ultraman.

PARCO Members will receive an exclusive TAPPEI collaboration hologram sticker. The lottery is open not only at Ikebukuro PARCO but also at PARCO_ya Ueno and Hibarigaoka PARCO.

During the event period, customers who spend 1,200 yen or more (tax included, cumulative during the period) at restaurant or cafe locations in the building will receive, on a first-come basis, one random sticker from three types of “visual stickers.” This offer also applies at PARCO_ya Ueno and Hibarigaoka PARCO. Additionally, the official SNS of Ikebukuro PARCO will run a campaign to give away TAPPEI autographed visual posters, so Ultraman fans should check it out.

The “ULTRA SUMMER in IKEBUKURO” event runs from July 3 to July 16, 2026. Simultaneously, the nearby Shibuya PARCO 4F “PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO” will host the new exhibition “SHUWATCH with U” celebrating the Ultraman Series’ 60th anniversary, adding to the excitement.
