Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded TV Anime Unveiled for Fall 2025

Great news for fans of the popular smartphone RPG franchise, Monster Strike! During the recent Dreamdaze III event held on Sunday, a brand new television anime adaptation was officially announced. This upcoming series is titled Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded and is set to make its debut in October 2025, arriving as part of the Fall 2025 anime season. Viewers will be able to catch the show on Tokyo MX and a total of 45 other stations across Japan.

This marks a significant milestone for the franchise, as Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded will be the very first TV anime series based on the game.

About the Monster Strike Game

The original Monster Strike smartphone game, developed by Mixi under its XFLAG brand, first launched for iOS devices in Japan in September 2013, followed by an Android release in December 2013. While a North American version was also available starting October 2014, it was eventually discontinued in August 2017. Despite the regional changes, the game has achieved impressive global success, boasting over 55 million downloads worldwide.

Previous Anime Adaptations

Before this upcoming TV series, the Monster Strike franchise has already seen multiple anime adaptations, primarily released as web anime. The journey began with a first anime series that ran for 51 episodes from October 2015 to December 2016. This was followed by a second season, which streamed for 23 episodes between April 2017 and September 2017.

A third season, known as Kieyuku Uchuu-hen (which translates to The Fading Cosmos), continued the story with 13 episodes from October 2017 to January 2018. Most recently, a fourth series delivered a substantial 63 episodes from July 2018 to December 2019.

The franchise has also expanded with anime movies. The first movie, Hajimari no Basho e (To The Place of Beginnings), premiered in Japanese theaters in December 2016 and served as a prequel to the initial web anime series. The latest film in the franchise to date is Lucifer – Zetsubou no Yoake, which opened in Japan in November 2020.
