Exciting news for fans of the autumn anime Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi 2! Ahead of its broadcast premiere on October 7, 2025, the synopsis and some tantalizing pre-broadcast scene cuts for Episode 13, titled “A New Companion Is Unbelievable,” have been unveiled.
Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi 2 is the highly anticipated second season of an isekai journey based on Ren Eguchi’s novel series, which has garnered over 1.4 billion views on “Shousetsuka ni Narou” and boasts over 10 million copies sold worldwide across its series (including digital editions). The first season captivated audiences from January to March 2023.
Under the direction of Matsuda Kiyoshi, animation studio MAPPA brings this delightful tale to life once more. The beloved cast returns, with Uchida Yuuma as Mukouda, also known as Tsuyoshi Mukouda; Hino Satoshi as Feru; Kino Hina as Sui; and Murase Ayumu as Dora-chan. The ensemble cast also features acclaimed voice actors like Uchida Maaya, Daichi You, Kaida Yuuko, Shirasaka Saho, Namikawa Daisuke, Saitou Shirou, and Nakai Kazuya.
The story follows Mukouda, an ordinary salaryman who is suddenly summoned to another world. His unique skill, “Net Super,” initially seems rather unimpressive. However, it soon becomes clear that modern foods ordered through this skill exhibit astonishing effects in the alternate world. Enjoying dishes made with contemporary seasonings, Mukouda savors his life in this new world alongside his legendary magical beast companions, Feru and the slime Sui. The second season promises to introduce new companions, kicking off another delicious journey!
