What is Animate Girls Festival (AGF)?
The Animate Girls Festival (AGF) is a massive event held in Ikebukuro, truly a celebration of “everything for otome.” It brings together the best of anime, manga, popular seiyuu (voice actors), merchandise, otome games, and cosplay. From booths showcasing popular anime and games to stage programs featuring renowned seiyuu, artists, and creators, plus various collaboration projects, AGF promises a diverse array of captivating content.
Exclusive Free Live Streaming on ABEMA
This year, all of AGF2025’s exhibition stages are confirmed for an exclusive free live broadcast on “ABEMA.” This means fans everywhere can dive into the heart of the festival from the comfort of their homes!
The special stages will include panels for upcoming TV anime like `Hana-zakari no Kimitachi e`, scheduled to air from January 2026, and `Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai` (which can be translated as *The Affairs of the Other World Depend on the Corporate Slave*). You can also catch stages for popular titles such as `Disney Twisted-Wonderland` and `Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica` (widely known as *Puella Magi Madoka Magica*). On the days of the event, ABEMA will also take over the Animate Ikebukuro Main Store’s 1F 165-inch signage, six ceiling monitors, and pillar advertisements, allowing event-goers to view the AGF2025 stages right there in Ikebukuro.
