Journey into the World of BLEACH
*BLEACH*, the thrilling sword-fighting battle action manga by TITE KUBO, was serialized in “Shuukan Shounen Jump.” The story follows the protagonist Kurosaki Ichigo, who gains Shinigami powers through a fateful encounter and becomes a “Shinigami daikou” (Substitute Soul Reaper). He finds himself embroiled in turmoil in the Souru Sosaeti (also known as Soul Society), the place where the souls of the deceased gather, and engages in fierce battles.
The TV anime adaptation began airing in October 2004 and has produced over 360 episodes to date, along with four feature-length anime films. The final arc of the TV anime, *BLEACH Sennen Kessen-hen*, began airing in October 2022, captivating many original fans with its stunning animation and anime-original scenes. The broadcast of the final fourth cour, “-Kashintan-“, has also been decided, adding to the excitement.
With “BLEACH THE LOCUS OF BRAVE II” fast approaching, the event is set to offer a deep dive into the series’ world. It includes the first public display of TITE KUBO’s image name drafts (layouts), exhibits showcasing the making-of the anime’s 20th-anniversary PV, production materials, and photo spots.
