Q: Please share your impression of the character Tengen, whom you portray, and your enthusiasm for playing the role.

A: Tengen is a Jujutsu Sorcerer possessing exceptional barrier techniques and an immortal technique, allowing them to live for over 500 years, all while maintaining distance from groups that worship them as a god. With these aspects in mind, I considered them to be a character who also possesses a ‘shrewd’ and ‘cunning’ side.

Furthermore, I’ve been pondering what it truly means to be untouched by ‘death’ for over half a millennium, and what ‘thoughts’ and ’emotions’ one would carry throughout such an existence. To genuinely portray Tengen, I believe I must persistently delve into these questions, even if the answers remain elusive.
