Kyouto Animation is gearing up for its 7th fan appreciation event, titled “We Are, Now!! —KyoAni no Sekai Exhibition—” which promises to be a spectacular two-day affair on October 25th and 26th, 2025. The event will take place at the Kyouto-shi Kangyokan Miyakomesse in Kyoto. Exciting news has just dropped regarding the “Creator Secret Talk” stage, revealing the star-studded lineup of participants and opening the floor for fan questions!
Dive Into the World of KyoAni at This Grand Exhibition!
“We Are, Now!! —KyoAni no Sekai Exhibition—” is the seventh installment of Kyouto Animation’s highly anticipated fan appreciation events, celebrating the countless “sekai” (worlds) they’ve brought to life, including beloved series like Violet Evergarden and the Hibike! Yuufoniumu (also known as Sound! Euphonium) series. This large-scale exhibition is a rare opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in the studio’s creative universe.
For the first time in approximately eight years, the event returns to the Kyouto-shi Kangyokan Miyakomesse. Attendees will be treated to a breathtaking display of over 1,000 production materials. Imagine seeing the actual hand-drawn original key frames used in their anime, alongside intricate background art, detailed color designs, stunning CG work, and captivating photography materials. This exhibition is designed to let you truly feel the immense passion and dedication of the creators behind your favorite animated masterpieces.
Special Stages and a Grand Concert Await!
A major highlight of the event will be the special stages featuring a fantastic lineup of works, including CITY THE ANIMATION, the Kobayashi-san Chi no Meidoragon (also known as Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) series, the Hibike! Yuufoniumu series, the Tsurune series, the Free! series, the Violet Evergarden series, the Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (also known as Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!) series, and Hagureboshi no Uta (which can be translated as “Song of the Stray Star”).
These exclusive programs promise special insights, from secret production stories shared by creators across different works, to engaging cross-talks between voice actors and production staff. It’s a chance to hear unique stories you won’t find anywhere else! And for an even deeper dive into the “KyoAni no Sekai,” don’t miss the special orchestral concert, featuring the iconic scores from five different works, performed live on both days.
Unveiling the “Creator Secret Talk” Participants!
The highly anticipated “Creator Secret Talk” stage, happening on both days, has finally revealed its participants! This unique segment brings together a豪華 (gouka, splendid) assembly of talented creators, including animation directors and character designers who have illuminated numerous Kyouto Animation works. They will cross the boundaries of their respective series to share exclusive behind-the-scenes stories that can only be heard at the “KyoAni no Sekai Exhibition.”

In an exciting development, questions are now being accepted for the cast and creators participating in some of the stage programs! Specific stage events will feature a dedicated Q&A corner, offering you the incredible opportunity for creators and voice actors to answer *your* very own questions.
