About the Series
Jigoku Sensei Nube is a fresh anime adaptation of the occult hero action manga that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999, with a story by Makura Shou and art by Okano Takeshi. The series boasts an impressive 29 million copies in circulation. It masterfully blends school ghost stories and urban legends to send chills down your spine, while showcasing the brave deeds of the spiritual power teacher Nue no Meisuke, affectionately known as “Nube,” who risks it all to protect his students from youkai and evil spirits. This has earned it cross-generational appeal. Previously, it got a TV anime from 1996 to 1997, along with theatrical films and OVAs, and even a live-action TV drama in 2014 starring Maruyama Ryuhei.

Broadcast and Streaming Details
Episode 14 of the winter anime Jigoku Sensei Nube will air starting January 7 at 23:45 on the TV Asahi network nationwide “IMAnimation W” slot. Following the terrestrial broadcast, early streaming will kick off on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai. Additional platforms are scheduled to carry it as well.
